Love these shorts! My son is 3 years old and 42 inches (pretty thin). I ordered him 4T. They hit just above his knee. Love the black, easy to keep clean so something I’m willing to let him go to daycare in, the ballpark, or just play outside. I was just slightly disappointed, I wanted these to be softer like the sweatshirts. They’re essentially a swimsuit so they’re a little stiffer but do dry very fast which is a fair trade.
Quite literally the perfect summer shorts! From the playground to the pool these quick dry shorts are all you need. We sized up to a 4/5T for my 3yo and we should be able to get 2 years out of these shorts like we have for our BLO swim trunks.

These are the best shorts ever! They can be dressed up or down and they dry in 10 minutes. Perfect for impromptu water play on hot days. My son doesn’t typically care about the clothes he wears but he asks to wear these daily.
